That’s right. I was not going to wait until 2011 for this one. Blogger, I am!
I made this commitment to myself — to keep trace of my thoughts, rants, hopes, wonders and other life considerations worth sharing.
For two reasons:
1- I’ve started (yet again!) my perfect job quest. My current job is okay, a somewhat flexible office job with a fair amount of stress and bullsh!t – just not the career I want to be in. Never was. So here I am, not quite 30 yet, and I’m thinking to myself: maybe this is worth another shot? Before I resign myself to the bill-paying job I have no passion for or much fun with, I need to explore the interests I have kept quiet deep inside — in fear of threatening my day job and the associated financial stability. And for as long as I remember, writing is on my “list”
2- Last year, I entered this wonderful stage of life: I became a mom to a very handsome blue-eyed boy who’s already stolen the other half my heart! And I have so many good stories to tell him, that I ought to write them down.
Happy Independence Day, let the fireworks begin!
